KALEIDOSCOPE

Throughout the year, the nursery and youth ministry will be following six pillars that anchor our Christian education program. We have named the program "Kaleidoscope" because of the ever-changing perspectives our youth have in life at different phases of their development. In order for the church to be culturally relevant, it has to be culturally responsive and responsible. We teach Community, Worship, Prayer, Learning, Leadership, and Love through Biblical excellence!

Community

It is our responsibility to teach and challenge our youth to be honorable, respectful, and reputable community leaders. We want every child to know that their gifts and talents will make our communities stronger.

Worship

We believe that youth worship is a meaningful experience for all youth. Our worship is energetic and age-appropriate so that every child feels welcomed to actively engage.

Prayer

An interpersonal relationship with Christ begins with communication. We believe that children should learn the importance of prayer. Our focus is to teach our children how a simple, heartfelt conversation with God can make a dynamic difference in their life.

Learning

We believe in the power of story-telling. Our curriculum is built around the idea that story-telling can change lives. Children love reading, writing, and listening to stories, so we have decided to teach them the greatest love story of all time!

Leadership

​We believe that the church should provide leadership opportunities for youth of all ages. Our primary goal is to prepare youth to meet the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood. We provide experiences and activities to help nurture their gifts and talents. 

Love

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart."  This command is taught through our curriculum to help our children learn not only how to love God, but also, how to love God's people.
